NP Kornati

Kornati archipelago is situated 15 Nm to the south from Zadar town. There are about a hundred islands, islets and cliffs. Visiting Kornati is probably one of the most spectacular experiences one may have in this area. The cliffs on the islands facing the open sea, interesting relief structures, Kornati submarine area, the magnificant geomorphology of the sea bed, the magic air and silence, make this area unique. Paradise indeed.The legend narrates that Kornati islands were created of God who, after earth creating, threw the left white stones in the sea thus creating this marvellous archipelago.

NP Krka

The Krka National Park is located in Šibenik-Knin County, along the Krka River. With its seven travertin waterfalls and drop of 242 m Krka River is a natural and karstic phenomenon. The travertine is a limestone deposited from dissolved calcium forming travertine barriers or tresholds and creates waterfalls.Besides these natural beauties it would be interesting to visit the exceptional archeological site of Bribirska Glavica and the Franciscan Monestry and Church Visovac. The island of Visovac was settled by the Hermits of St. Augustine, who in the 14th century built a small church.

NP Paklenica

The National Park Paklenica is an area of 96 km ². It lies north of Zadar within the Velebit mountain range. It is an unique fusion of sea and mountain, rich in forests, streams, karst territory and caves. The Canyons Mala and Velika Paklenica are fundamental phenomena due to geological and hydrogeological particularity, karst, flora and fauna, enriched with streams Velika Paklenica of 14 km and Mala Paklenica of 12 km.

NP Plitvice lakes

The National Park Plitvice Lakes deserve a full attention of visitors. The beauty of this area conquers by its natural diversity, magnificent ambient, clean air, waterfalls, caves and forests. This area is a specific geological and hydrogeological karst phenomenon. Has 16 bigger and a few smaller lakes separated by travertine barriers, the basic phenomenon of the National Park. In the Park area there are large forestry complexes, with protected areas. UNESCO has declared it with all rights as the world's natural inheritance.

Nin

Nin is the oldest Croatian royal town in which rulers and bishops had their seats from the 7th to the 10th centuries. It was known as Aenona in Roman time and had the forum, amphitheatre and aqueduct. Nin is situated on a small islet in the middle of a shallow lagoon and thus it connects its historical richness with natural beauties. Its beaches and facilities in the modern tourist complex make it an attractive tourist destination.

Zadar

Biograd

Welcome to Biograd na moru, a very beautiful town of the Zadar Riviera within reach of the enchanting Kornati islands often called "the paradise for boaters" due to its diverse coves and beaches. The legends says that Kornati islands were created by ancient gods inspired by the beauty of the sea which washes them. Biograd is the work of the same master hands. It is no surprise that Croatian kings were crowned in this town of a rich historical heritage. It is situated on a peninsula with the view to the island of Pašman separated from it by a long channel ideal for windsurfing. Together with numerous sports and recreation facilities, there are here more than 20 tennis courts which make Biograd an ideal destination for those wishing active holidays.
